its still not working and I am totally baffled. I`ve tried it on two
different amigas my 1.d.4 motherboard and my mates, 2.b.
I reinstalled cleanly os 3.1 with 3.1 roms. I then downloaded ppc.library
from aminet, did the flashupdate and newest 040.library from dce`s ppc FAQ.
Then I tried to use the bvision installation disk that I got with the
board. The disk says:
B-Vision PPC
V. 2.8
CyberGraphx V3 Release 70a
how is that? does that sound like I`ve got all the latest stuff and nothing
is clashing? I tried the suggestion of putting a stack command in my
startup-sequence. Could it be an env variable thing? could it be I`m not
finnishing something off like setting the cgxprefs in sys:prefs? Its just
that, when I tried to use the prefs program, it just prints out something
like:

then hangs and the mouse pointer hangs. As for some of the settings that you
set during installation, there is something about passthrough, should that
be yes or no on a bvision card. Should I install the 040/060 version of cgx
or the ppc - 040/060, I have tried the same, with the same result;
inability to set the prefs at the end of the installation or to look at the
configeration with the tools thing, and also, that the boot process hangs
at the bootpic. pleeeeese help!
