:^} The front porch is the part of the blanking pulse before the
sync pulse; the back porch is the part of the blanking pulse after
the sync pulse. In compsite color sync signals, the colorburst
carrier frequency is placed in the back porch of the horizontal
blank/sync.

Whether the sync's are the same depends on the units Windows is
showing compared to what CGX is showing.
