Yes -- If you don't supply BMF_MINPLANES cgx will give you back a standard AGA
bitmap, i.e. with 8 bitplanes.

So the problem is not really where the bitmap is placed, but the fact that the
bitmap is always planar and max 256 colours. So using this together with cgx
modes require planar2chunky etc. for each and every blit.
