| Subject: | Voxelspace FPS/PPC speedup |
Its not often that I need some advice, but this one got me quite puzzled.
As you know, I had to re-install my system partition, which meansIve lost
all my settings including env vars and such.
I was able to recreate most of them due to some backups, but the WarpOS demo
'voxelspace' only does 50-60fps here, while the 040 version does 30fps in
the same config.
Obviously, Im doing something wrong, I used to get 90fps before my ppc
board had the re-fix, and Im not sure how much I should get now.
Other ppc progs feel slower aswell, am I doing something wrong? Im running
all the usual stuff like fastiprefs, rom2fast, 60ns simms, latest flash,
latest 040 libs, my cgx4/warpos/warp3d env vars and tooltypes seem fine
aswell.
How many fps do yall get with a ppc160/166/175mhz+040?
