Just wrote in to let you know that the problem still exists, but I think I
know whats causing it. First off, it was an old version of the AK datatype
that caused the 20 second delay (somehow it couldnt start the ppc code, the
new version works better) After replacing it, it now comes up in 2 seconds,
which is what it used to be. Only when I have been online with my PCMCIA
ethernet board does it double, to a 5-6 second delay before the WB comes
up.

I noticed that this PCMCIA thingie slows the whole system down by 40%. And
there isnt really a solution (although Ihave yet to try the latest
cnet.device)

Because of this, I dont soft reset any longer. When I need to reboot I
power off the machine, then power on, and reseat the PCMCIA board so there
wont be any slowdown.
