Hello,

I have been experimenting with various fixes for my BPPC+BVision. I was having
the problem that it would overheat when I used the CPU fan. Somebody
mentioned that this could be because the heatsink wasn't extracting heat from
the PPC because of the fan. I also read about the washer fix.

>From this I thought a version of the washer fix for the PPC chip would be a
good idea. I took a thin strip of metal and placed it between the PPC chip
and the heatsink. Now my machine works beautifully, it boots straight away
without needing time for the heatsink to begin taking heat from the PPC chip
and I can use the fan, which cools the heatsink making my machine even more
stable. I can now listen to MP3's continuously without any threat of my
machine hanging.

I hope people can use this to help them with their cards.
