Hello,

RE: Making the Emergancy disk.

Wehn I got my Power-Tower in, it had a Hard drive with OS 3.1 on it.
Since I was gonna repartition the whole thing I did a bare bones
install of 3.5. (No Picasso96, ect.) I wanted to have an Install disk
available for those in our group who bought the CD and wanted a
completely new installation. I installed the CacheCDFS system for the
CD-ROM driver and all I have to do is edit the mount file for the
proper xxx.device. Anyhow the direstory for this disk is:

There is a directory on the OS 3.5 CD (CD0:OS-3.5/Emergency-Disk/)
that has the proper Startup-Sequence. CD0: got copied over as
EMERGENCY_CD. If you wish I can send my Mount file.

Another alternative is someone posted an Emergency disk on Aminet with
instructions of what files to copy over to it so it'd work. It's at:
/util/boot/Startup35.lha

Or just use the Aminet search and type OS 3.5.

Regards
Mark
