I used to have an external SCSI case wiuth a Toshiba CD-ROM drive. I
bleieve that some CD-ROM drivers had a specific setting to fix a quirk
of these drives that gave you problems with copying music and I think
it also caused some problems with Photo CDs. (IIRC)
