You say that you have 2Meg of RAM. Am I correct in assumning that
that memory is not on the PP&S board? My first suggestion is that
you grab 16 or 32meg of ram, put it on the PP&S board. Your Amiga
will love your for it and you will be suprized what a change it
will make. You then can load the exec etc into 32 bit memory and
you will see your performance improve 5-10 fold.

OK - this seems to be the real problem. If the 040 board is not
initialised then 3.5 will have problems because it requires 020
or better. Even with the 040 board, it still starts off as an
68000 machine. The first line of my startup-sequence is to load
the 32bit memory and initialise the 040. This would have to be
before your run setpatch. The order of the programs is crucial.

The order I start things is:
sys:68040/RomTagMem >NIL: -D 8000000 2000000 5 10
C:SetPatch QUIET ; WaitforValidate
c:MuFastROM >NIL:
c:MuMove4K >NIL:
C:MuOmniSCSIPatch >NIL:
C:Version >NIL:
C:AddBuffers >NIL: DF0: 30
run >NIL: dh0:utilities/enforcer/SegTracker
run >NIL: dh0:utilities/enforcer/enforcer verbose file=dh2:enforcer.log ; file=con:0/0/100/200/oops/auto/close
C:PatchRAM >NIL:
and then as per normal.

It does take a little time to boot - I think it boots 3 times
before everything is up and running.

I hope this helps.
