Don't mount the CD right away, just mount it later when you need it...
I have a Plextor 4 speed, and when it is mounted, a requester pops up
saying "No disk in drive". A few seconds later, the requester closes and
the disk appears. Seems the drive is a little slow off the mark. My
previous CDRom was a Toshiba, and my SCSI host refused to talk to it, and
corrupted files. It was a tad too slow for it...
