Hmmm, does it do this as well after a warm reboot? Have you tried
putting the PicassoII card in another slot?

I still don't know exactly why, but with some A2000 motherboard
revisions (6.2 for sure), in combination with OS 3.5, an 060 (and
possibly some other accelerator cards) and Picasso96, the Picasso II
isn't initialized on a cold boot. It has something to do with the
software reboot signal from the 060 though.

No, it isn't at all. In my case, on the rare occasions that I
actually shut down the machine, on a cold boot I have to wait until
OS 3.5 reboots after applying setpatch and manually reboot the system
(I removed the QUIET after Setpatch in the s-s so that I could see
when the system was about to reboot so I don't cause any partition to
become invalidated) in order to have the Picasso II recognized the
first time, instead of waiting for the initial boot to finish in NTSC
HiRes and then rebooting to get my P96 screens.
