Why use the direct SCSI version? This is only needed if your drive is
over 4GB *and* your controller doesn't support TD64. Unlike PFS2, there
is no performance advantage with the DS version.

I don't know if this is the cause of your problem, but I'd recommend
using the normal version of PFS3.
