Look at Filemon, which I think is at www.sysinternals.com
Not as nice to use as SnoopDOS, mainly because the OS is not as nice,
but somewhat similar.

Yes, it is essential. The theory is that new OSes are so well planned
and efficient that you never need anything like that. Which is b----.
