get both.
a decent C book - the K&R is good for all of C - will teach you C... and how
to code it.
a decent Amiga C book will teach you the Amiga specific C stuff - the Amigas
libraries/devices/tools etc etc. you then layer that with the basic C stuff
to get a full program
