Hiya,

I'm looking at (finally) going PPC. Unfortunately, it looks
unlikely that I'll be able to get one of those nice AmiJoe cards
just yet (not done as much overtime as I was expecting), so I'm
looking at getting a Blizzard card.

Looknig at Eyetech's website, there are only the very low end
(040 / 160MHz PPC) and very high end (060 / 240 MHz PPC) versions
available, and the price difference is phenomenal.

As I would be replacing an 040/40, I'm not too keen on the idea
of going to a 25 MHz unit, when most stuff would still be running
on 0x0, and the PPC would be less than great at 16 MHz. Are any
other versions still available new (SCSI versions, as I have the
BlizzardSCSI unit, too, which I use for my Zip drive)?

If so, where from, and what are the prices like?

Otherwise, it looks like a 2nd hand job, which I'm not too keen
on.

Thanks in advance,

Adam
