Recent!? That was probably about 8 months ago.

Most of that's irrelevent... the fact that the list has been up flawlessly
for it's entire lifetime and that everyone knows where it is is not.

Also, being here means I have total control over the list... I have my
reservations about moving the list to a server with dubious configuration
with what seems to be quite limited controls.

Do we need a faq? The list is hardly brimming over with questions.

We have any?

A links list for a handful of url's? Feh.

Can they do that? It may be on their server but they do NOT own the data
anyone uploads there and hence have no rights over it once it has been
downloaded.

I would say that having the list moved is kind of a non issue right now...
my only thing with Owlnet now is some webspace which I don't have the
login for.

You want to make some big resource site, and I admit this was what I was
originally going to do (I even prepared an announcement of it's development;
the ARexx Resource Project), but when I looked hard, I couldn't see a demand
or a need for it anywhere...

It's their list-serv, their servers, hence they have final say of legal
issues such as this... I don't think many are likely to be interested in the
file area anyway... people?
