Just my '2 cents' until I see the demo too:
- In StormMesa demos there was a 3d demo of flying airplane (object looked like
it was modelled from paper, if I remember correctly). At the time I tried that
demo I had 603e ppc 200 with 040, and I had just 2-3 FPS (!!!) while my mate's
603e ppc with 060 but in 166 had ~20 fps, full screen!!!
Btw, this ppc card I own now :)
Unfortunatelly I can't test that 3d flight demo, as I deleted it from HD, but
I still hope you configured the Heretic2 demo or W3D preferences wrong :]
