That's a difficult one. As far as I remember, under X the cursor stops
giving motion events when it leaves the window, therefore I had to
recenter it every time to get sensible delta values.

So I don't think there is a general reply for this... On the Amiga,
mousemoves are still generated at the edge of the screen, even when
the cursor stops...
