The problem is that all these drivers, as in the PC version of QNX, use
the "flat mode", in which the CPU does everything and the chip just
displays.
In this mode, you can even make one driver for all cards.

But handling them correctly, using 2D / 3D acceleration, usw, is more
difficult, as many gfx chip builders don't distribute free
documentation.

I think Sam allready know that with Permedia2.
Hey Sam, Warp3D isn't based on the Linux P2 driver, uh ? :)
