Yes, looks like my own experiences with it. And i think Sam once also told
that it is not worth it, and i sometimes got a similar report of a demo coder
somewhere. I still don't say it is NEVER useful, but it is definitely
something which has to be tested on the special case where it is used... and
in most cases (at least in those where i tried) probably not useful... Did
someone get it useful somewhere (Joe ?) and in what situation was this then ?
Still, it definitely would NOT be useful for a future PPC-only Board, of
course, even if on the current hardware :)
