Out of my experience:
In a LOT of cases it is NOT worth it. But in SOME cases it IS worth it. It can
only be recommended to TEST it in the case in question (for Input it
definitely helps... i doubt if it helps for much else...).
But asides from asynchronous there is still the possibility to go for
synchronous mode and just call several 68k functions "behind each other" in
one contextswitch...
But there are always several options in coding and you have to find out
which one is optimal :)
