Hi
I want to welcome you to this mailing list. Finally a place was
created to discuss stuff related to WarpUp or other PPC stuff.
To maintain a high quality in this mailing list it is absolutely
necessary that everyone follows some basic rules. As soon as people
don't do that the mailing list becomes obsolete, as people will
stop participating and use private mail.
This mailing list serves to discuss issues around WarpUp and PowerPC
technology in general. It's actually no problem to mention PowerUp
related things here, but please, if you have some highly technical
questions concerning PowerUp, better ask your question on a PowerUp
related mailing list, because these are visited by experienced
PowerUp developers.
You should strictly avoid any kind of aggressive or provocative
posts, flame war's are not tolerated at all. Don't bash newcomers,
if they attempt to ask questions, which you might find silly, remember,
everyone was a newcomer some day.
Furthermore you definitely should *not* post messages which are completely
unrelated to the issues mentioned above. Avoid posting off-topic stuff,
this is very annoying.
Also avoid posting mails which are of no use to anybody. Check your
mails before you send them, and if you feel that nobody will benefit
of its reading, please delete the mail.
Simply try to be kind, contribute to the discussion in an open and
constructive manner, and this place will become a very useful one.
