That's what many applications do. One task allocates memory and other
tasks then do lots of stuff inside this memory. I guess that the OS itself
also does this quite a lot.

Wrong, WarpOS itself is supposed to disappear for the POP boxes. The idea is
to port AOS to the POP boxes and to write a wrapper implementation of the
WarpUp API, which uses the AOS system functions (something similar to
ppclibemu for PowerUp on WarpOS), so that WarpUp applications would then
run directly under AOSPPC.
