hi,

Imagine this then......a Transmeta CPU programmed to run 68k AND PPC code in
parallel. maybe I've said too much now...but hell! Amigans should know ;-)
> I'm still waiting for someone to give me views on TAO not transmeta, As i am more interested in the Amiga than an overhyped but very clever piece of harware aimed at breaking into the Wintel market.
TAO? Why not visit their website and read all about them. they're very well
established and got several features in console mags back in '94 - they
wrote a nifty OS environment for low-cost network capable consoles....now
6 years later we get Dreamcast and PSX2. the best ideas die for some reason.
As for Transmeta...theres a lot more to their CPU than that. the 68k
schematics have been released...everyone who needs to know about the 68k can
now...imagine a 700MHz 68k CPU for classic Amiga? :-)
