AmigaOS has a "Last Disk Flag", IIRC its stored in the RDB. If you
originally prepped your HD's without the ZIP drive being accessible and
given that the ZIP has a higher SCSI address than your HD's, that flag is
set for the last HD on your system. During a reset or power-up,
scsi.device stops scanning the bus for connected devices once it finds the
Last Disk Flag. This is very useful if you have dead-slow devices like
tapestreamers or old CD ROMs on your scsi bus.
I don't know about ZIP drives, but if they're only visible to the system
when a disk is inserted, chances are you only need to put a disk into the
drive, start HDToolBox and write your setup.
