I don't normally post "me too"s but...

Me too.

One thing that bugs me about many other operating systems is that they
don't allow you to use settings temporarily, quite often I'll want to
change something (be it screenmode, fonts, patterns etc. etc.) just
for one session but want my Amiga to go back to my prefered defaults
after a reboot.

Another one is settings (like window and icon positions) that are
remembered after a reboot with out me asking for them to be saved
arrrgh!

Leave our ENV alone :)
