well many of the user of RemApollo (ROM remmaper for Apollo
1240/1260 cards) and BlizKick (Blizzard rom remmaper) have some
problems with the boot with 3.5. and some hate the fact to have
two reboots when you power on your machines....
for RemApollo users, download the latest version, that come with
a tool, RUX that extract the modules in "AmigaOS ROM update".. you
can load this modules in at the same time that you remmap the
ROM, at boot time, you can load inclusive the news
workbench.library and icon.library at boot time. Then you only have
a reboot in the first start... and you can use all the BlizKick
modules with RemApollo.
for BlizKick users.... download the latest version (uploaded some
days ago in Aminet) BlizKick come with a tool similar for
extracting the modules of "AmigaOS ROM update". you can load this
one like BlizKick modules (in fact, now you can load almost
everithing like a BlizKick module). and all these things with
only a reboot, too.
the latest version of this tools are in Aminet... i sugest to
RemApollo users to download both tools.... in RemApollo you can
use all the BlizKick modules (i like SpeedyIDE and use
ramlibpatch, instead to use MCPRamLibpatch)
