One problem I have found and solved after much hair-pulling over
some days concerned 2nd.scsi.device *where* it is for an A4091 SCSI
host adaptor.

In devs:SDPatch.cfg there are four patch lines for 2nd.scsi.device
but as far as I can dertermine these are *only* for the A4000T
"2nd.scsi.device". If left in service we got nasty write freezes
invalidating the partition being written to.

I found it best to comment out those lines for 2nd.scsi.device if
you are using an A4091. All the disk problems go away then.

This has little bearing on your current problems but may be useful
to know later...
