I've finally done some more digging, after running with a near constant
600K free chip! (WOW does it eat up chip mem FAAAAST)

It looks like if I go for that one and later decide to change
processor cards, I'll lose the gfx card too. OTOH it's 'only'
about $200 US(P5 list price, DCE is supposedly re-releasing it soon).
Unfortunately I don't know a price for any others because I don't know:
a) what is still being supported and/or manufactured.
b) which ones that will fit in the A4000.
c) a web based mail-order company with _CURRENT_ PRICES&PRODUCTS. :)
d) ANYTHING about gfx cards. ;)

What is a well(known) supported card that fits into a Zorro 3 slot of
an A4000D?
It seems that this may just be the best option to 'keep' the
same gfx card - although if I want to add another Z3 card I'll
have to go to a tower. :-/

Thanks for the replies, btw.

TIA,
Brian Haug
