Remove all the dirty OS patches from Startup-Sequence.
Many aren't needed anymore.
Deactivate all MCP patches.
Activate them one after the other, if you really need some of them.
Deactivate Executive's scheduler.
Responsiveness is a little slower, but overall performance of programs is
significantly better.
Use Ramlibpatch and Stackattack.

I guess you're talking about Magic Menu here.
Use NewObtainGIRPen and you'll get locks of MM much less frequently.
