Same here, and uses up chip ram enormously even under Picasso96.
If you boot to your old OS3.1 it lists fast and almost no chip ram
usage at all.

I've checked this over and over, cold-booting to each OS, and
checking the same directories. List by Name is worst case. By
icon is better but not good.

That's how it is here...

Same here but only if I boot OS3.1

I hve no answer for this since I've tried going back to old icons
and all those things. It helps but not the way it should.
I'll look further when time permits.
