Safer to do one thing at a time. Get it working reliably first, then
after a few weeks consider alternative file systems. Jumping a mile
forward and a kilometre sideways simultaneously is a recipe for trouble.
The new Boing Bag HDToolbox is good. I set up a 9 Gig drive with no
trouble at all. The defaults are now sensible for IDE drives.
