Subject: | A few OS3.5 probs |
From: "Andrew Deacon" <andy@deakmann.demon.co.uk>
I've just installed os3.5 over my old 3.1 setup. After removing a few
old patches it's running fine except for a few minor probs:-
1.If I try to load 'Exchange' my machine instantly freezes. I've heard
that some MCP patches cause this but i've completely disabled MCP
without success.
2.After testing a few datatypes I found that my 'WAV' and 'MPEGVIDEO'
datatypes don't work with the new sound(slow playback) and
animation(crashes) datatypes. I've reverted to sound.datatype v41.4
and animation datatype v41.6 which I got off Aminet and now they work
fine again.
Am I missing out on anything by not using the 3.5 versions?
Many thanks
