I had same kind of problem, there opened window where read something like 'could not save message, disk full?'. After about 15-30 seconds YAM started working and filtered downloaded messages. I switched preselection on deleted the bad one and downloaded the rest of messages. This happened couple of times but I didn't look where those messages came, I thought that reason was server program that I just installed to my PC...
