Search - Step 2: Specify Search Conditions

Select the Match all conditions check box to match all the conditions you specify. Images that do not match all of the search conditions will be ignored.
Select the Match any condition check box to match one or more of the conditions you specify.

Select this check box to search for images based on their star rating.
Select the required star rating from the list.

Select this check box to search for images based on the last modified date.
Select the a start and end dates from the popup calendars.
Use the check boxes to enable and disable Start Date and End Date.

Tip
Select only a Start Date to search from this date forward; select only an End Date to search up to the end date.

Select this check box to search for images based on the shooting date.
Select the a start and end dates from the popup calendars.

Select this check box to search for images based on the comments you entered about the photo.
Type search words into the box. Separate multiple words with spaces.

Select this check box to search for images based on the keywords you selected about the photo.
Select the check boxes of the keywords you want to match.

Tip
If you selected Match all conditions, ZoomBrowser EX searches for images that match all of the keywords you selected.
If you selected Match any condition, ZoomBrowser EX searches for images that match one or more of the keywords you selected.

ZoomBrowser EX remembers these settings until you close the session, so you can always come back to this dialog to modify your conditions for a new search.

If you select a search option, it will be included in the search even if you do not modify its search criteria. Click

to display details (if they are not already visible.)

Search Example

If you select Match all conditions, a Star Rating of three stars, and a Shooting Date of January 26, 2005 as the search conditions, only photos with three stars that were shot on the specified date are retrieved.

If you select Match any condition instead, then all photos with three stars (regardless of the date they were shot) and all photos (regardless of star rating) shot on the specified date are retrieved.
