Use this function to trim (crop) an image, cutting out areas that are not wanted.
If necessary, resize the window or zoom into the image using the zoom and pan controls below the image.
Click and drag a trimming box over the portion of the image you want to keep.
Move the trimming box by clicking and dragging inside the box, or by entering numeric values in the X and Y boxes (in pixels) in the Location area.
Resize the trimming box by dragging the sides of the box, or by entering numeric values in the W and H boxes (in pixels) in the Size of trimming area.
Create a new trimming box by clicking and dragging outside the existing box.
If necessary, click Undo or Redo to undo or repeat the changes.
When you are
ready, click Trim Image.
The image is trimmed and centered in the window.
Click OK or Save As to apply the changes to the actual image.
Tip
The save options depend on how you arrived at the Trim Image dialog box. Save As will display
when you start from the Browser Window. OK will display
when you start from the Viewer Window.
