Jamaica add to English contingent Published: April 16, 1998
Jamaican coach Rene Simoes has added to his collection of ex-patriate English players by calling-up defender Danny Maddix from QPR. Maddix had tried to press a claim through his parentage at the end of last year to a place in Jamaican squad for France but a drop in form saw this chance recede. He took his chance last month when QPR played against Jamaica to impress Simoes and now he will travel to Iran with the squad to take part in a four sided tournament. |
