Croatia call up veteran as form slips for others Published: April 15, 1998
Croatia have recalled veteran striker Ardian Kozniku for the friendly against Poland next week as fears grow concerning the form of Davor Suker and Igor Cvitanovic. Suker has struggled to make an impression this season with Real Madrid after an impressive start to the season and Cvitanovic has not been playing regularly. Kozniku is a likely starter as Croatia will also be missing Zvonomir Soldo and Robert Prosinecki. New caps for Croatia are Zoran Mamic and Tomoslav Rukavina but they are unlikely to start the Poland match. |
