Entering her fifth season with the Blues, Aurelin has been a key organizer of one of Southern California youth soccer's stingiest defenses. She normally plays sweeper or marking back but is also flexible in understanding and executing various defensive systems. Aurelin is a quick thinking aggressive player who takes initiative. She has excellent speed, is very good in the air, distributes and plays out of the back well, can also project herself forward into the attack, and displays team leadership qualities.
