Dear Larry,

Hope all is well with everyone. Christine is getting a tremendous life and soccer experience with Nebraska.

I initially wanted Christine to go to the Blues specifically for the need to get into a quality soccer program. I now look back at the opportunity that you and others in the Blues organization have made available for her to pursue, and I appreciate a much bigger picture now.

Being invited to play with the Blues and the success she has enjoyed as a result, is having a great impact on her as a person and I am certain that this experience, on a much bigger scale, has impacted the rest of her life.

You and the Blues took a kid that before would probably have been satisfied in a J.C. or small school and developed dreams and goals she is now getting to experience.

Unfortunately, I feel many families who enjoy financial success, can send their kids to college without assistance and may take what you guys are doing for granted.

For Christine, you have had a major impact on her life and I appreciate it. The more success she is having on and off the field, the more I can clearly see the role you played in all of this. Remember, you created this with a kid that had limited skills, only made 1st team CIF once, only made the State ODP team once and most of the local colleges overlooked her. Great Job and continued success!
