| Whales are mammals, but fish are not mammals. Alot of people think that fish and whales are alike, but basically the only things they have in common is their habitat. They both swim and they have tails, but even their tails are in a different position. Fish have scales, but whales have skin. Whales are also alot bigger than most fish. Whales have a tiny bit of hair, but fish do not have any hair at all. Fish have gills to breathe through, so they dont have to go up to the surface to breathe. Whales have to come to the surface to breathe. Whales hold their breath while they are under water. Sperm whales can even hold their breath for an hour and a half! A lot of whales eat fish! |  |
