Suzy J and Abbey are the greyhounds of Bob and Carol Vinnacombe. They live with two Dalmatians and six cats. One of the cats used to play "tease the dog and run" games with the Dalmatians, and decided to try out the new girls. When one of the greyhounds almost caught the cat as it was making its escape (all in fun, of course), the cat looked back as if to say, "What in the world is that thing? Dogs aren't that fast!" That was the last time the cats tried to play chase with a greyhound. Suzy and Abbey want it made clear, by the way, that they don't chase cats anymore. But the cats still have to deal with foster greyhounds who are learning the rules.
