Its aims are to promote the advancement of laboratory animal science, technology and welfare for the benefit of the public.
LASA achieves these aims by: promoting the interchange of information by means of meetings, lectures, discussions and publications; encouraging education and training; cooperating with other relevant scientific societies and representing membership opinion at national and international levels.
