Description:

Zurk's Rainforest Lab is an edutainment game set in the Rainforest. Kids are free to explore the rainforest, play games, or take pictures and write about the animals. There are 3 different games to play, Egg Hunt, Pattern Puzzles, or Seek and Sort. In Egg Hunt, Nita the cub needs to find 12 eggs randomly hidden in the forest and in Seek and Sort kids decide which animals go into which categories. Pattern Puzzles has various geometric puzzles that players will need to put together with pieces they can rotate to fit.

Kids can also take pictures in the Photo Album of exotic animals and write about them on the opposite page. If you just want to see the animals and learn facts about them, then Jungle Discovery is the place to visit to click on various animals and read descriptions.

Features:

  • Animals of the Rainforest
  • Photos of animals that can be printed
  • Games

Technical Aspects:

Zurk's Rainforest Lab is easy to install, just run the install .exe on the CD. The game ran without any discernable glitches and the graphics good.

Report and Conclusions:

Zurk's Rainforest Lab is an older game and seems dated when compared to newer programs about the rainforest, but will still educate and entertain. You can choose 3 different languages, Spanish, English, or French, which is good, and Nita the cub is cute. The games are pretty simple, but still fun to play.
