Description:
Wiggins in Storyland is a simple writing and creativity program for the young aspiring writer. Easy to use, it offers the user several options for creating a story. Props, settings, characters, and songs are all provided to the author to choose from when composing, and if you have a microphone, you can record up to 60 seconds of text! Books that have been saved will be placed on the "limbrary" branch to read later, or the user can read from several of Wiggins books already there. The stories can be printed out and also saved to a disk.
Wiggy's Room is a fun place to play, with clickables and several games like Tic-tac-toe and a pea shooter. Kids can change the colors in the room and make juice for Wiggins.

Technical Aspects:
Very easy to install under Windows, just go to Run, type the letter of your Cd-Rom Drive, then type :install and follow instructions. The game ran smoothly with no choppiness.
Report and Conclusions:
Wiggins in Storyland is a very basic editing tool for creating stories when compared to newer programs on the market now, but it is still a good choice for a young writer. The very simplicity of the game allows young kids to compose away with little help or instruction from parents and they will enjoy reading their own stories. Since this game is older (1995), there may be discounted copies for sale and if you can find it for under $15 I would suggest adding it to your software library if you don't already have a writing program for the younger set.
