Wanta get rid of those pesky bugs? Burp 'em! Use a slingshooter to get rid of enemies. Use a bug as a pinball to rack up points and hop across a river using the back of every critter in sight, but don't fall in. Get rid of bugs by matching their colors, but hurry before Timon beats you. Sound like fun? YES!

If you're in the mood for some fun without any educational benefit whatsoever, then Timon and Pumba's Jungle Games is the game for YOU! Five arcade favorites are included, but are presented from Timon and Pumba's zany point of view. Hippo Hop, Slingshooter, Jungle Pinball, Bug Drop and Burper are unique variations on familiar games such as pinball, Dr. Mario and others. In Hippo Hop Timon must cross the river without falling in, and in Slingshooter the player must shoot only the bad guys or get points taken off for shooting the friendly natives. Jungle Pinball is played with a rolled up bug and has Pumba offering praise for good shots. Bug Drog is very similar to Dr. Mario, and Burper allows Timon full creative use of his burping prowess to annihilate bugs!

Technical Aspects:

Installation was simple, and offered your choice of either CD installation, limited installation, or full installation. If you have 50 MB HD to spare, you can choose the full installation and dispense with the CD. There were no problems running the game.

Report and Conclusions:

Timon and Pumba's Jungle Games is a favorite of our family! Since I am somewhat arcade challenged, I don't play all of the games offered here, but I thoroughly enjoy Jungle Pinball, that being one arcade game I am able to play. My husband and oldest daughter, however, play all of the games and love them all. If what you are looking for is good, clean fun for the entire family, then Timon and Pumba's Jungle Games is an excellent choice.
