Gryphon Software has created a variety of ways for kids to play the Superman Activity Center. The activities can be played independently or as part of a structured storyline, with the real story of Superman, from his escape from Krypton as an infant to his dual life in Metropolis. The mazes, puzzles and games have been randomized, and each offers three difficulty levels.

Technical Aspects:

We didn't have any problems with installation or while running this title. The interface makes it easy to move from activity to activity.

Report and Conclusions:

The Superman Activity Center offers a great variety of games, although it does include a coloring book. The most fun we had was using Clark's x-ray vision to spot common hazards such as uncovered electrical outlets and broken bottles. Kids will also write their own news stories, work with lay out and help Lois Lane out of her problems when she has a computer crash. In one of the activities, Superman must recover his anti-kryptonite suit and capture bad guys in a maze.

Superman fans age 5 to 10 will love this. Just watch out when you challenge Lex Luthor!
