Description:

Broderbund/Living Books has released Preschool Success Starter, which is an excellent value. There are 2 discs - the first is Maggie's Farmyard Adventure, and includes a story, activities and songs that will delight your preschooler. The second disc, Eager's Pet Show uses acrobatics to teach kids about numbers, letters and shapes.

Technical Aspects:

This program installed and ran with no problems. The graphics are bright, the characters are delightful, and they will appeal to boys and girls.

Report and Conclusions:

This program is an excellent value, even at the recommended retail price of $30.00. My kids love it! The music is nicely done and the activities are a lot of fun as well. there are pages to print and color, sing-along songs, a scarecrow that changes outfits with the click of a mouse - it's just got it all! This is one I'll be using with my 3 year old, and it's already had us laughing out loud while he explores. His older sister (5) is bugging me to install the next in the series, Success Starter Kindergarten, and I have a feeling that I'm about to be kicked off BOTH computers in our home again.
