Description:

The Children's Songbok is full of sing-alongs from around the world, and can be listened to and enjoyed in different ways - each has an animated video, a page offering English translations, and musical games and puzzles. Each song is also linked to cultural information about the characters.

Technical Aspects:

Installation was no problem, and the animated sequences ran very smoothly, as did the audio files. The graphics are beautifully done! The interface is very simple and we had no runtime errors.

Report and Conclusions:

My kids love the animated videos. The graphics fit the music so well, it's obvious that Learning Technologies Interactive put a great amount of detail into the planning. The songs here include: Kookaburra, Frere Jacques, Sur Le Pont d'Avignon, O Tannenbaum, Hevenou Shalom Aleichem, Funiculi Funicula, Sakura, Cielito LIndo, Katiusha, Estando el Senor Don Gato, Vem Kan Segla Forutan Vind?, Old MacDonald, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, She'll be Comin' Round the Mountain and Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.

The games are very innovative - moving parts of songs into their correct order, dot-to-dot and much more. It's designed for ages 3 and up, and they may surprise you by singing in another language!
