Description:

SimTown is a simulation program from Maxis in which you can design and build your own town. Planning is essential to keep an even ratio of businesses and homes for a healthy economy in your community. Schools, office buildings, houses, clinics, and other buildings will all be needed to design a well-balanced town. There are also tools to build a park for your town and a Natural Resources area in which to keep up with how the town's food, water, and air quality are doing.

Features:

  • Design your own people for your town
  • 2 levels of difficulty
  • Online help
  • Starter towns
  • Fixer-upper towns with problems you can correct

Technical Aspects:

SimTown was simple to install and ran well. The graphics are bright and clear and the manual is very descriptive of the game.

Report and Conclusions:

With all the options available in SimTown, you can design a new town each time you play. Our family really enjoys this game and plays it often. The age range is 8-up, but younger kids can easily master this program on the easy level.
